Information Technology Degree Careers
A typical day in the life of someone with a career requiring
an information technology degree involves developing,
implementing, and maintaining effective information
technology systems. It can also involve evaluating and
building IT systems as part of a management team, whether
in business, government, or not-for-profit organizations.
Information Technology degrees are available at a variety
of levels, from the associate degree level to the masters
degree level, and depending on the training a person
has, his or her typical day will vary. In general, those
with higher level information technology degrees will
spend more time managing and thinking about IT systems
in strategic ways, relating to the overall organization,
than will those with lower degrees, who will typically
focus on implementation.
This page lists computer programs featuring information
technology (IT) schools and programs offering certification,
bachelors, or masters degrees related to information
